Trust Administration Service

The Law Commission proposals to reform trust law will bring increased obligations for all those who are trustees of trusts. The reform will mean that trustees can not be contracted out of their duty to act with care and skill and therefore should be liable for any mismanagement of their trust. It is important going forward that all Trustees understand and adhere to the terms of their trust and to act in good faith for the benefit of the beneficiaries. It will be critically important that all Trustees are comfortable that their trusts are operating under the terms of the trust. We strongly recommend all trustees consider the potential ramifications of their action, or non-action.
