Managing Director Jason Osborne recognised as a FCA

Jason Osborne recently received the honour of being recognised as a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

Fellowship recognises members who have achieved excellence in their career and contribution to the profession and to the community. It is particularly significant as it is bestowed by our peers. Fellows are required to have a strong set of personal values and high professional standards, but also a practical understanding of civic responsibility.

Jason feels very honoured to be nominated by his peers and recognised by CAANZ for the work he has been doing over the years. 'Advancement to Fellow would not have been possible without the opportunities given to me by our fantastic local community, as well as the amazing support from all the team at Osborne Group and my wife Pip'.

We're in the community

Here at Osborne Group we take a day out of the office each year to help the community that supports us so much. In previous years we have installed worm farms for Lansdowne Residents' Association, and weeded and cleared the garden at Westside Play centre. Friday the 12th of November was Annual Community Day 2021. This year we decided to support 2 very worthy causes in our local community-Masterton FoodBank and Hospice Wairarapa Community Trust. The team headed to Masterton FoodBank to unpack and sort thousands of donated items from the FoodBank drive, ready for Christmas food parcels. As proud ambassadors of the Hospice Wairarapa, we joined the Annual Street Appeal, posted at Mitre 10 Mega. The Hospice's annual street appeal provides vital income to support the range of services they offer, free to anyone who is on a palliative journey in our community.
